		<description>I think older people who leave out date fool nobody. It sets up a flag to employers. Younger people do not leave out dates. Employers are not usually that stupid, that they don&#039;t know what the candidate is doing. Don&#039;t show that you are defensive about your age. You create exactly what you believe.
There is something that I recommend to older workers. List your core competencies as it relates to the jobs you are seeking. This is part of branding. A long history which zogs and zags, can create confusion as to the direction you are going. Get rid of obsolete information that does not reflect your goals. Include just what would be valauble to the employer, now.
If the company is seeking an entry level person, you won&#039;t get that job, Better to focus on what you can do for a company from day one.</description>
