Bill - - Over the years I've had several clients either land a job or make a great connection through volunteering. One that immediately comes to mind is a client who was extremely frustrated, so volunteered for a local Christmas In July project. As he was stocking shelves/unpacking boxes, he struck up a conversation with a co-worker who just happened to be the VP of HR for a local company. And yup the rest of the Paul-Harvey story is the company was looking for someone w/my client's skill set -- he interviewed - - he got the job.
